wet paint?

I have taken other pictures of this flag-adorned bridge crossing the Deschutes River in Bend, Oregon, and posted them on my blog. The color of the flags keep changing, with this week featuring purple, red and yellow. Like plumage on a native headdress, these colors grace the visage of the river's surface and enhance its perpetually tranquil quality. Those who pass by on the riverwalk and, like me, glance into the water, must smile at the magic of this reflection and marvel at its gaiety.

It is almost magical, isn't it. I'm glad the town does something like this. If it makes people smile then it is good. MB

I have seen this bridge before and I love the flags. The reflection is so beautiful. You are right about my scenic sunday shot,Lee. It was taken while I was visiting CO where my daughter lives.

Another striking image. I also love the flags on the bridge. I also wonder how they keep coming up with new color combinations and what these colors represent. Maybe it's just a nice combo for summer. There are a lot of flowers around with these colors now.

My immediate thought was an Indian headdress! Great minds, Lee...

Beautiful photo...the muted background brings out the colors of the flags!

Of course, the reflections give it a lot more punch!
