Rise and Shine

I have been remiss in posting this week and hope to be able to show scenes of Bend, Oregon for the next several days until Thanksgiving plans take me elsewhere. Then my posting may be spotty again, until I return home after the first week in December. I have been waking early and seeing remarkable sunrises on the high desert and felt compelled to share this view taken from my front porch. My head is bursting with new ideas and thoughts predicated by a great upcoming adventure which will take me to many amazing places. I will be leaving Bend, Oregon for 4 months and will be creating a new blog which I hope you will be interested in following. I will include details in upcoming posts. A new morning to all of you!

Your sunrise is spectacular, Lee. I feel motivated to get out there with the camera before I start work today. Thank you, friend.

My dear friend, you are a man full of surprises.

First of all, this photo is from your front porch? Omigod, that's paradisaical! Incredibly beautiful. I might, perchance, possibly, maybe, possibly again, be persuaded to get up early if I lived in such a place. I'd have to think on it some more, though before I give a final answer.

And I am now bursting with curiosity as to this "great upcoming adventure" of yours and the amazing places to which it will take you and the blog with which you intend to share your photos, etc., for those of us who are less fortunate - you know, retired and living in hot and steamy Florida.

A great "new" morning to you, too!

It is a beautiful sunrise as seemingly they all are.

Very interested in what your upcoming 'adventure' is going to be. Come, share with us.

Hoping to hear from you.

A new blog. Hmmmmmmmmmm!!

So it worked out and is now a reality!! I'm so excited for you, Lee! It's going to be a wonderful adventure!

Your sunrise is spectacular! Stunning colors! We've had some of those, too, lately!

Have a great Thanksgiving!

Another stunning photo. You captured the colors so well. Those mornings can be so intense and fade so quickly. I love the purple-gray in the upper right and the "ordinary" purple cloud to set off the fire.

A beautiful new morning to you too, Lee! I love the way the trees look in black silhouette against that flaming sunrise. The contrast is amazing, and so are the colors, which you captured perfectly.

I've had kind of a rollercoaster week, but finally one great evening: an early Thanksgiving dinner with my son and daughter and her boyfriend earlier tonight. The transition is still on track, and may happen at the same time as the beginning of your great upcoming adventure.
